Since beginning my architectural journey in 2009, I have placed the feeling a space evokes at the heart of my approach to design. The way light falls on a surface, the texture of a material, spatial proportions and carefully considered details… My connection with architecture has been shaped by the way these elements come together to enrich everyday life.

No19 Mimarlık gives expression to the experience I have gained through years of project work and to a perspective that has matured over time. The lessons of each project and the knowledge gained through bringing designs to life inform the spaces I create today.

I begin every project by understanding the people who will inhabit the space or the brand it will represent. Their habits, expectations and the space's particular conditions become part of the design. Each project then develops into a distinctive expression of the life and identity to which it belongs.

From the first idea to the final detail on site, I give the same care to the integrity of the design. The way materials meet, the places where light softens and how a detail supports everyday use are all inseparable parts of that whole.

In every building and interior I design, I seek a character of its own: one that is felt on entering, grows familiar through use and gains meaning over time. At No19, this is how I shape the spirit of a space.
